The protein in your body is 70% collagen. This decreases as you age so by giving your body these building blocks, it will take them and assimilate them into your cells. How long it takes depends on your health overall. There is no real good straight answer. Treat collagen as a food, just like you your vegetables. It's something amazing for your body that you are supposed to eat.
