There are no known side effects. Some people may have detox symptoms such as mild nausea, headache, diarrhea, body odor, a white coating on the tongue, acne or even bad breath. 

These are normal detox symptoms that should pass in time. To help relieve these symptoms, drink peppermint tea, drink alot of water, and eat foods high in fiber, such as plant based fiber powders, apples, celery, grapefruit, prunes, pears and raspberries. If symptoms persist, talk with your health care practitioner and/or lower the dosage of the product.
